My Support and Foundations
As your doula and birth keeper, I am here to present information and alternative options to assist you in making the best decisions for yourself and your family. I use various outlets to keep you up-to-date with new resources that can help you through your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
I offer physical support for you during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. During pregnancy, we discover and practice various hands-on techniques to help you relieve discomfort as well as practice for labor. During birth I am there to support you whether it is physically being near (or making space) throughout, practicing comfort techniques, or a hand to hold. During your postpartum period, I am available to help you and baby based upon your needs.
Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be an emotional rollercoaster- with all the great parts and scenic views and the low parts where you are still waiting for part of you to catch up. Sometimes it's processing through previous trauma or hurt, sometimes it's that this is not what you expected, or ____. I am here to simply be a listening ear through it all. I am here to offer words of encouragement when appropriate and needed. I am here to let you know that you are not alone.
As a woman, mother, mentor, doula, and educator I understand how important doing life with others is. I don't just say you need a village, I hope to help you create one. Connecting with other moms and dads is such an important part of parenting. For some there is a natural progression, for some there is a hit or miss group, and for some it's painfully clear you need more. I host monthly and quarterly events through to help you connect with other parents so that you can then continue communication and get together outside of this.
