Notes for services and support:
Birth pools now available- see tab above!

Included, but not "charged", continuous check ins and availability to you postpartum (as I say, I still check in on my clients from years ago and they know they can reach out to me anytime for anything).  As well as inclusion to the Transcend Community of get togethers that include brunches, family get togethers, moms' nights out, etc.

I know these packages are more expensive than some other local doulas and I understand this can be disappointing or shocking for some. I have adjusted these according to the very intentional care and support that I offer my families. I have personally crafted amazingly detailed emails and resources for my mothers, am always available to them, do continuous check ins (text and email throughout the month and now with monthly phone meetings), as well as taking less clients on so that I can give fewer mothers MORE individual care and support. These prices are based off of quality and quantity of care.

Please note: I only take 1-2 families per month.

We used Hannah's services with the birth of our first daughter so when we found out we were pregnant with our second, using Hannah again was a no brainer. The support she offers is unmatched. From making sure I was eating and drinking, reminding me to breath, using the rebozo for pressure and pain relief to making sure the pool was inflated, Hannah was a true godsend with our redemptive home birth.

Remarking about appointment with LC: "So we tried without one (nipple shield) on the left side and honestly whatever you did with the bodywork, the kid is totally different it seems and because we continued with the left and he got a thorough feed, we weren't able to try the shield because he was too tired to try the right... He’s definitely a different baby since you did all the body work."

Breastfeeding Support $75/hr.

Are you experience discomfort or desire
addition support on your breastfeeding journey?

I am not an IBCLC, but have nearly 8 years of personal breastfeeding experience, have helped so many mothers breastfeed over the past 10 years, am a certified breastfeeding educator, and I am very passionate about mothers moving toward and having successful and beautiful breastfeeding journeys.

Please note: I cannot diagnose ties or give referrals.
I can listen and support, debrief previous experiences and preconceived notions, debrief birth and pp experiences that can affect your breastfeeding experience, offer suggestions and hands-on/hands-off support (my goal is to help you be self-sufficient and confident), be a watchful eye to see what might be getting missed, and give suggestions.
If I think there is more going on that I cannot help with, I will referring you to local providers.

Other support: connecting with other mothers for donor milk, connecting you with other breastfeeding mothers, etc.
-Your Local Milk Dealer
I will never forget the way some professionals looked at my damaged nipples in horror when I was experiencing a tumultuous start to my breastfeeding journey. Not Hannah! She came to my postpartum visit, remained serenely calm, and offered me suggestions that honored my goal to breastfeed (such as nipple shields and spoon feeding milk) rather than everyone else who implied it was time to call it quits and bottle feed. She is an amazing support system to any breastfeeding mom, whether you're struggling or thriving! ~ Alyssa G.

Prenatal Meetings:
Our prenatal visits (typically 1-2 hours long) are an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss various topics related to pregnancy, birth, and beyond. During these times, we often discuss your hopes and plans for your journey as well as any concerns or fears you or your partner may have. I do this so that we can work through them and better prepare you to help your pregnancy and labor be a positive and empowering experience. These meetings will vary depending on your needs, questions, and unique journey!

Continuous Support and Resources:
I will be available via email, text, and call support anytime for you. Throughout your pregnancy, I want you to be confident, informed, and empowered. I do weekly to bi-weekly check-ins and you may contact me anytime as well. As noted in packages, you will have access to
*Transcend Resources*. These are resources (PDFs and emails) specially created for Transcend Families to help them be informed of various topics throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. I am more of a holistically-minded doula and many of my resources, alternative options, and suggestions will mirror such to meet and understand biological and physiological norms for you and your baby while having all (alternative and more medicalized) options available to you. My care does not end once the baby arrives. I am here for you. My check-ins slowly dwindle over the days and weeks following, but I continue to keep contact and do occasional check-ins as well as offer many opportunities for you to join the Transcend Community with monthly mom brunches and quarterly client get-togethers. This is to continue your on-going support that all families should have and help build a local community of moms for you to come alongside if desired.

Hannah literally has a resource document for EVERYTHING! Its to the point where my husband and I will be talking about something so random concerning our health not just our babies and find ourselves saying "I bet Hannah has a document for that" This has simply come from how often she has sent us a resource document on the spot while talking to her about our concerns! It’s truly so valuable to have someone knowledgeable and supportive but its another level when they can literally send you a resource document on the spot while supporting you through something! -Natashia L.

Labor and Immediate Postpartum Support:
Informational, physical, and emotional throughout your labor. I am not there to replace a spouse or partner or any other support persons you desire to be present. I am there to support you (and them) through this beautiful experience. While you are in early labor, I am available virtually to keep in touch and up-to-date as well as offer suggestions. Throughout your active labor, I am a resource for evidence-based information, physical support (which varies on your needs through each phase of labor), and a comforting presence there to reassure and encourage you. Your immediate postpartum varies of your preference and birth location. This often varies between getting you or making you food and helping you eat, fostering a bonding time for your family, helping clean, preparing a herbal bath, and so on.

Postpartum Follow Up:
Typically 2 hours, this is a time for me to see you and baby ‘settled’ after a few days (or further out if you prefer) and a time to debrief your labor and birth experience. During this time, I can also support you with any breastfeeding and feeding questions, concerns, and needs. We discuss how you're feeling emotionally, mentally, physically in this transition. This is your postpartum visit for anything you need support for.

As noted above. My care continues well beyond these "packages" as much or as little as you desire. My heart is to serve you and your family well, foster a beautiful transition, and create opportunities for community and village connection if desired.

What are Transcend Families saying?

"I knew from the second that I saw Hannah’s Instagram and website that she would be perfect fit for me as my doula. After talking to her on the phone my feelings were even more confirmed. From pregnancy, to the birth, to postpartum she offers never ending support. I was beyond impressed by the education she provides for her clients to help them have informed consent when it comes to any decision they have to make. Hannah always made sure that I felt heard, seen and as the mother that I was the one in charge. When to came to the birth I wanted a more hands off approach, she had no problem with that but as soon as I needed her for support she jumped right in. Her presence is always calm, confident, and warming. You can tell how much her heart is fully in this and as someone who also feels called to birth work she is a true inspiration. She was such a gift to have in my birth space and I can say with confidence that you will not regret having her in yours. Love you Hannah!" ~Sarah O.
